All adult volunteers are now asked to attend a safety training when they join a volunteer team. This means many of you will need to come to a training for the first time this fall. We cannot build a culture if we silo the training only within children’s and youth ministry.

Topics will include the deanery's policies, child advocacy, and abuse disclosures and reporting. Central to the training will be our biblical directive to defend and protect the vulnerable among us.

To make it easy to attend, we are offering 3 identical 1-hour trainings at our MN churches in the Twin Cities. Alternatively, our volunteers can attend these identical offerings: 

• Saturday, August 27, 10am - hosted by Restoration Anglican 

• Saturday, September 10, 9am - hosted by Church of the Redeemer
