For 18 through mid-30s, we meet to share a meal. This ongoing group offers a great place to pray together while considering vocation, current topics, ministry throughout our lives, and just being a supportive community for each other. We’ll meet in the Great Hall at Church of the Cross

During this 2 hour workshop we will overview the Connected Families Framework to launch our partnership and whet our appetites for other Connected Family courses and conversations. Childcare will be provided, as well as coffee and snacks. We will only have one Sunday morning service at 10 AM. We will still have our usual time for worship, Scripture readings, prayers, communion, and the like. However, it’s our annual tradition when, instead of a sermon, those attending can share brief testimonies of thanksgiving about God’s work in their lives. Please consider what you could share!

Come and celebrate the coming of Christ during one of our traditional, candlelight services. Each service includes Christmas carols, Scripture readings, a Christmas message, and communion.

Every other year, Kids of the Cross prepares a Christmas Pageant for our church and the local Hopkins community to enjoy. Come to watch as the children of Church of the Cross tell the Christmas story. We invite all to wonder about our Savior’s miraculous birth. Our time will include carols, Scripture reading, and communion. Please stick around afterward in the Great Hall for warm drinks and pie! You can let us know you’re coming or invite your friends using our Facebook event.

(NOTE: Because of this event, we will only have one Sunday morning service at 10am.)

Let’s prepare for the season of Advent by making our own Advent wreaths! Join us after either service down in the Great Hall. We will provide the greens, wire, and candles (for free). If you have your own small garden clippers and wreath metal rings, please bring those to use. You’re welcome to stick around and fellowship over hot cider and munchies. We will also share ways you can celebrate Advent in your home this season.

Moms of littles (nursery and preschool-age children) will gather for brunch at Andrea Lang's house. Sunday mornings are so busy, and life with nursery and preschool children is intense. Let’s gather to be nourished and build each other up before the approaching holidays. Reply with an email to let Andrea Lang know you can attend. She can send you her address if needed. 

Join Together for Good, a local ministry we support, for an evening of celebrating all that God has done through stories, speakers, a silent auction, and a private concert as we raise $1 million for children & families. The gala is free to attend. However, space is limited. We recommend registering you/your table early to secure a spot.

Corrie’s House is a local ministry we support, and you’re invited to join their 4th annual gala & auction at the Radisson Blue Mall of America (Bloomington, MN 55425).

The Homecoming Gala is Corrie's House's largest fundraiser of the year. This annual event brings together supporters, community leaders, and advocates to celebrate our progress and to raise necessary funds to continue our mission - But this is more than just a fundraising event. This year, we will celebrate opening the doors to a new house and transforming this house into a welcoming home for young survivors of sex trafficking. TOGETHER, we will provide survivors with a pathway to rebuild their lives in a safe and nurturing environment.
