In Person Services at Cross

Sunday Services In Person

9:00am & 10:45am (However, there is only one service at 10am on December 22 and 29.)
Each Sunday service includes our full Anglican liturgy: congregational response, Scripture readings, a sermon, prayers, sharing the Communion, and worship together. Our services last about 1 hour and 20 minutes each.

What to Expect

If you’re visiting for the first time, it can be nice to know what to expect. We have some explanations below. You can also watch previous services on YouTube by clicking here.

Church of the Cross is a liturgical church, which means that there is an order to the service which is based on forms used by Christians since the Church first began 2,000 years ago. This order includes singing (both ancient hymns and contemporary songs), Scripture readings, a sermon, and prayer. We have a bulletin which guides participants through the service and gives some brief explanations on why we do what we do.

We also celebrate Communion together every Sunday. This is a time to celebrate Christ’s death and resurrection and His work in our lives. We invite all those who are committed to living for Christ and have been baptized to join us in this celebration. If you choose not to receive Communion, you can continue along with our worship.

Our hope at Church of the Cross is that you will experience us as a welcoming place.
