Jacob and Laban
Father Pete taught on the story of Jacob and Laban this week. He invited drawings of the flocks as we reflected on the deal Jacob to determine what became his property. The humanity of this story is glaring, we see deceit, loneliness, jealousy and other such realities. I am sure we can relate to some portion or another. May there be comfort once again … this is God’s story, he is the one who is faithful.
